About 30 of us today had the distinct pleasure of attending the 104th birthday party of our oldest member (by a long margin) - Jim Mearns!  What a legend he is. 

He doesn't perform now but back in the day he was what we call a Blue Feather i.e. an Entertainment Member - a fine tenor and we played some of his earlier recordings at his party.

He was with his wife Margaret by his side and several of his Blue Feather colleagues paid tribute to Jim by performing at his party.

He was in top form and we're looking forward to his 105th celebration!!
