Just like the Irish Night, Welsh Night and Scottish Night before it and ahead of St. George's Day and HM The Queen's Birthday, of course '1904' had it's English Night - reported earlier on Instagram and other social media.
And in the Chair compering the evening in our club was the quintessentially English, Dr. Jonathan Bird who is one of our society's Joint Secretaries.
He was supported by Mark Blackmore (left) and Nigel Stafford (right) during the evening.
No surprise, the painting sketches by the artists and the evening's concert entertainments reflected everything English and the audience members and guests got off to a rousing start by singing "Jerusalem" which you can view by clicking the link below:
