Many national institutions have upped their online presence during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The National Portrait Gallery ( https://www.npg.org.uk/
) has done this and it is a real treasure trove.
This is very important for the NPG as it is closed for refurbishment until Spring 2023. It is currently Women’s History month so articles/pod casts ranging from Emily Bronte to Sarah Gilbert (Oxford vaccine) via Mary Seacole (Crimea War).
Please explore this brilliant website if you are interested in portraiture and/or history.
