And the night belonged to Blue Feather and former Entertainment Warden, Andy McLaren, who chaired the evening in full and mighty Scottish attire.

So is it a sin to play jazz on a night devoted to the Scottish patron saint? Then if so, we sinned big time with our own '1904' Strollers Band! It was a great session with many of the your favourite jazz classics played and the guys were on fire with the bonus of guest flute and saxophone player, Gareth Williams!!
But later on, in deference to the fine heritage of Scottish traditional music we had Steve Price (the current Entertainment Warden) on banjo, James Heming on drums and Ian Watt on his magnificent accordion - bringing us on a musical voyage through the glens and highlands of Scotland.
Besides members, we had some 10 visitors on the night and you could feel enjoyment they were having on such a special night.
